Carson Fang and The Graveyard Markets

Welcome to Morden. A waystation world for monsters and the dead where ghosts warn, gargoyles police, and zombies hold trials. And Carson Fang, our prickly narrator who prefers books to people, just fell in.

Carson Fang and the Graveyard Markets is a 60,000-word standalone middle-grade fantasy adventure with series potential. It’s Nevermoor meets Diary of a Wimpy Kid,  if the kid got shoved into a literal grave by his worst enemy: his new stepbrother, who might also become his best friend.

Behind The Book:

Good stories don’t stay buried. Carson Fang started as a twine game as a class assignment and is now a Middle Grade Portal Fantasy manuscript, currently being queried to literary agents. See below to see what early reviewers had to say:

“A thematic heavyweight wrapped in a spooky, heartfelt adventure…the kind of story that reminds readers why they fell in love with books in the first place.”

-Freelance Editor

“This middle grade fantasy excerpt promises a home-run of a book…If the rest of the story is as strong as this exceptional beginning, this book will become a favorite.”
