The year is 2024. Millennials still can’t quite believe they’ve been phased out of their “cool” era. AI is working harder than the patriarchy; sexism is cool again and everybody pays for therapy with overdraft protection.

Enter Canadian screenwriters. American producers keep telling them their perspective is invaluable, so invaluable it won’t pay for an American Visa. Ever.

The Writers Room Sketch Show combines Canadian existentialism with the trauma induced urge to ridicule everything, all at once. Is culture dead? We sure think so.
